In 2015, I was invited to participate in the annual Easter Salon at Gallery Thomassen in Gothenburg. For the exhibition, I produced two photographic works using the cyanotype process, titled Tango I and Tango II. Through the use of this historical photographic technique, the works explore movement, corporeality, and trace, situating the body as both presence and imprint within the image.
The works form part of an ongoing investigation into tango as both movement and conceptual framework, where the cyanotype process emphasizes temporality, exposure, and bodily trace.
