In 2018, I was invited to perform at the InSEA conference held at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. The performance was conceived as an embodied and sonic intervention addressing the notion of the “glass ceiling,” making an otherwise abstract structural barrier materially and audibly present. With the collaboration of colleagues and peers, the ceiling was mentally broken during the performance.
The sound in the video documentation is the original audio recorded at the moment of impact, and the video itself functions as a documentary record of the live performance, which took place on 28 November 2018.
