In the autumn of 2023, I presented a solo exhibition on the island of Vrångö in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg. The exhibition introduced Big Blu, an ongoing project that investigates the encounter between two interconnected yet distinct realms: the world above the water’s surface and the submerged world below.
The works presented in the exhibition span charcoal drawings, digitally manipulated images, and 3D-printed objects, reflecting a process in which underwater forms are translated, fragmented, and re-materialized across different representational systems.
