Site-specific installation at G\u00f6tafors in an old industrial landscape. Twelve oars placed parallel to the river articulate a state of suspended propulsion in a former industrial waterway. The work anticipates later investigations in <em data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1058\">Big Blu<\/em> by addressing water as an active agent and by exploring the tension between surface, depth, movement, and human intervention.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"957\">Along the edge of a pond where the water slows as it passes through the former industrial site, I placed twelve oars arranged parallel to the water. The work engaged with notions of movement, resistance, and suspended action, evoking a collective yet impossible gesture\u2014an effort without propulsion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1407\">Titled <em data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"985\">Without Wind<\/em>, after a traditional Scandinavian song, the installation draws on maritime references and embodied knowledge connected to water, labor, and navigation.
